AVMS at Homes For Heroes Groundbreaking

On February 3rd, the Del Webb AVMS had the honor of participating in an event sponsored by Pulte Homes and Building Homes for Heroes. They partner to provide mortgage-free homes to disabled Veterans.

This event celebrated the groundbreaking on a new home for Army Sgt. 1st Class Lucio Gaytan, his wife and two children.

Pulte, and all of their trade vendors, donate the land, materials, and labor to make this happen. This was mortgage-free home number 77 in Florida.

There was great attendance at the event including East Manatee Fire Company, Manatee County Sheriff’s Department, and several community leaders.

Also speaking was Retired Marine Sgt. Heath, himself a recipient of a home from this program.

It was truly wonderful to see these organizations recognizing the sacrifices our service men and women make for our country.
