AVMS Meeting Minutes December 9, 2024

Call to Order: John Bastiani, Vice-President, called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm. Deb Distefano, led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Treasurer’s Report – Steve Milbrod reporting:

Secretary’s Report – David Chervin
(4) voting members of the Board were present. Rich Greenberg was absent. October 2024 meeting minutes approved and posted to the website.

Agenda Items

Operation Thanksgiving – Deb Distefano reported that we have met our goal for this year and purchased 400 gift cards ($50 each) The total was $20,000.

Board Member Elections – It was announced that Bob Turner will be joining the Board as Vice President. Steve Milbrod will continue as Treasurer.

Operation Warrior Resolution – Members Kelly Naughton and Karen Nasello spoke about attending an Open House at OWR. They reported it was a great event and their new facility was impressive.

50/50 – The 50/50 was drawn at the end of the meeting.

Our next meeting will be Monday, January 13th at 6:30 pm. The Guest Speakers will be representatives from MacDill AFB and JCFS.
