AVMS Donates $3100 to Southeastern Guide Dogs
On Tuesday, December 13th, AVMS Board Members Rich Greenberg, Steve Milbrod, and David Chervin accompanied Peggy Hufford and a number of her friends and Del Webb residents on a trip to Southeastern Guide Dogs for a very special tour.
Peggy’s husband Jerry was President of AVMS at the time of his death in February of this year. Many residents asked if there was a charity they could donate to in Jerry’s honor. Since Southeastern Guide Dogs was Jerry’s favorite charity, AVMS collected the donations in his memory and a check for $3100 was presented to Sean Brown by Peggy.
The check presentation and VIP Beyond the Darkness tour was a very emotional and heartwarming experience for everyone present.
Peggy and the entire AVMS team thanks everyone who contributed in Jerry’s memory, and we thank Peggy for her continued support and work in AVMS.
