Vietnam Veteran’s Day 2025 Ceremony

AVMS memorialized Vietnam Veteran’s Day with a ceremony on March 29, nearly 50 years after the end of that conflict.

With the help of Tidewell Hospice several Vietnam Veterans received commemorative pins in honor of their service and sacrifice during a well-attended ceremony in the Oasis at Del Webb Lakewood Ranch.

AVMS Vice-President Bob Turner made an invocation followed by remarks from President Rich Greenberg and also from Tidewell Hospice representatives.

The service then moved outside to the Circle of Honor where the United States Flag was lowered to half-staff and “Taps” was played.
